Xenophobia and Diversity – Face to Face


The third year of the Symposium Education for Life takes place in the magical city of Prague with a focus on xenophobic tendencies and diversity either ethnic or religious. Do we perceive diversity as a danger, challenge or an opportunity in the time of migration wave to Europe? Is migration something new or a part of a human nature? Symposium will bring together experts, academics, educators, volunteers and others interested in this topic, from the Czech Republic and abroad. We invite you to come and contribute with your experience and to create new international networks and cooperation.

Target audience

Representatives of educational institutions, teachers, educators, NGOs representatives, volunteers, host families, AFS staff and others engaged in the topic.

Sunday, March 11 Free Day in the City & Departures


The fee is set for 580 € per double room and 700 € per single room. The fee will cover the following costs:

  • Full board accommodation and meals
  • Transfers from and to the airport, all local transfers
  • Training
  • Conference & workshops, conference materials
  • Host family dinner
  • Boat trip & sightseeing in the city, entrances
