  • 200g pork
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 200ml water
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cooking sake
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sweet cooking sake
  • 1/2 teaspoon consomme (by preference, not necessary)


  1. Cut the potatoes and carrots into chunks.
  2. Cut the onion into wedges and the pork into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Place oil in a frying pan and fry the pork. Add vegetables to the mixture and fry further.
  4. Add sugar, water and other seasonings. Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Check that the potatoes and carrots are cooked properly with chopsticks, fork, etc., and then finish.
